Going in summer

strong mountain adventures

The village square with its baroque church „to the holy cross“ and the spectacular view of the Wilder Kaiser is counted among the most beautiful ones in Tyrol. This is the reason why it was chosen as a film location for the TV-Show „Der Bergdoktor“.

In summer at the handicraftmarket old traditions are brought back to life and at Going Live you can experience imperial evenings. In the swamp area „Moor & more“ at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser you can experience a combination of untouched nature and an interesting nature-lesson. After an exciting time on the mountain or after a day of climbing at the Schleierwasserfall you can refresh yourself at the bathing lake Going, which is fed from the mountain springs. Going is the ideal starting point for hikes into the surrounding mountains or strengthen yourself with a real mountain breakfast.
